Alongside reputation and customer base, an organisation’s largest asset is its people. Supporting and enhancing an organisation with these three elements in mind is key to successful development and future growth of a business.

Our aim is to bring our own learning of developmental growth to the wider market, to support companies on this journey and enhance their internal processes.

Strategic Brief Setting and Policy Guidance

We support clients to ensure the formation of a strategic and sustainable brief that underpins the delivery of future design solutions. This is done in consideration of all stakeholders and the wider construction boundaries, policies, legislation and best practice.

Using the same approach, we continue to support and guide clients as they create policy for their organisations. 

Design and Construction Advice

We work with other design teams, contractors and developers to embed holistic sustainability principles and add value to strategic projects.

Sustainable design and construction advice spans the whole built environment sector and draws on our 15 years' of experience of being at the forefront of low carbon design. We offer advice throughout the lifecycle of a project, either for a specific stage or in its entirety.

In addition to the projects featured here, we also preformed the role of 'Sustainability Champions' across a series of BSF and PFI projects, supporting the wider design team, ensuring Key Performance Indicators are identified from the outset, and their achievement is monitored and owned by the relevant party to deliver coordinated and affordable solutions.

Sustainable Lifestyles

We are fundamentally aware of the role individuals play in the performance of the built environment. We support clients to build in strategies and mechanisms to ensure the pursuit of a sustainable outcome is not achieved by the ticking of a box, but by the evolution of the communities that live, work and inhabit our urban and rural neighbourhoods.

We promote the development of Community Interest Companies (CICs) at community level to advocate sustainable behaviours and seek to implement practical strategies at building level that promote lower carbon lifestyles.

Sustainability Education

Linking the built environment with the reality of everyday life is an important element in ensuring ongoing low carbon lifestyles. Providing information and support to building users, either through workshops with schools, businesses or housing associates, about how their building has been designed to operate can only enhance the experience of the users.

Curriculum Integration is a particular specialty, and has proven successful and rewarding. Tapping into the existing curriculum at primary and sceondary school level adds to the understanding about their buildings and landscape and to their topiucs students are learning. Often, students then positively influence their peers, teachers and families, bringing about community learning.

Project Management

We believe that effective project management and a balance of quality, time and resources is the key to successfully delivering a project. Our knowledge is grounded in 15 years of managing integrated architectural and landscape projects, and so we understand the complexities and challenges that can arise within a building programme.

We are comfortable using structured management tools, such as PRINCE II, and our processes are flexible enough to integrate differing client requirements.
