Woodpecker Eco House

The Woodpecker Eco House project comprises a two storey extension to an existing timber frame private house in Lamarsh, Essex. The extension was designed in close collaboration with the clients to create a modern, flexible and sustainable space that extends the useable living spaces and provides a strong connection with the outside garden and countryside beyond. 

The extension is constructed using the Eurban solid timber panel system. This systems provides benefits in construction speed, reduces waste and provides a robust, durable and high performance building envelope. With highly effective wool insulation and black stained exteriors, the cladding boards echo the aesthetic of the barn construction in the local area.
