Let's talk about Design for Future Climate

Funded by the TSB Design for Future Climate programme, White Design is part of a ground-breaking series of research projects intended to review the effects of climate change on buildings and urban design. The year-long research project is undertaken in parallel with real developments to assess the effects of different climate scenarios on the layout and detail design of buildings.
The research focuses on comfort factors, water management and lifestyle changes. The three themes are explored using UKCIP climate scenarios using realtime climate data from other parts of the globe.
The TSB are keen to disseminate the information and White Design is seeking conference, exhibition and other speaking engagements to show our findings and debate the design solutions.
